COME WANDER

WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT, marketing strategy

TNB completely reimagined Ontario's Highland's consumer-facing website and invited outdoor-lovers to "Come Wander" the largely rural region just south of Algonquin Park. Visitors can now find itineraries to help them "Wander Like a Local," get sustainable tourism tips for travelling responsibly, and save tagged operators in a custom Backpack feature to help them plan their next trip.

Since we created such a useful website for Ontario's Highlands' visitors, we just had to do the same for their own members. The new OHTO industry site is a hub and resource for its tourism operators and organizations, and the inviting new brand system captures the region's rural and natural character.

BRANDING & IDENTITY, content creation, marketing strategy

We partnered with Northeastern Ontario to develop a full brand strategy and content creation plan for their rebrand to The Seven. We dug deep into woodsy nostalgia—bug bites included—to create the core feel of the brand. Social video and blog posts made the case to "quit the Six" and make new traditions in The Seven.

This mobile-first site for Indigenous-owned and operated tourism businesses was designed to showcase these one-of-a-kind operators, and to help the tourist find which experiences were nearest to them in Ontario, an area 1.5 times larger than Texas. A unique "Where are you coming from?" feature helps narrow the search for that next great adventure.

The definitive site for Northern Ontario travel inspiration. Over the past decade this website has welcomed over 13 million visitors from all corners of the world. TNB built and maintains the website, develops the content strategy, edits every piece of content, optimizes for search and social, and manages paid ad campaigns.

The relatively small destination of Huron-Kinloss in Southwestern Ontario is actually chock-full of things to see and do—you just need to know where to look. TNB worked with them to fully realize their new Secrets of the Back 40 brand as an engaging website and trip planner, weaving in itineraries for gravel bike routes, rural farm stands, and even rainy day activities.

What does a film festival do in the middle of a global pandemic? They continue to bring incredible Canadian and International movies right to your living room. In 2021, TNB and Cinéfest collaborated to reimagine what an at-home film festival could be: safely distant, but never impersonal. Now, Cinéfest has a fully responsive website that is easy to update and customize every year.
